Painting Pumpkins

Last year at this time I had made thirty papier mache pumpkins like the ones below.  

This year I am no longer working with paper
but am loving the experience of working with oil paint.  
Pumpkins are such a beautiful shape and painting all the beautiful shades of just one pumpkin was enough to do in one afternoon for my 30 day challenge.
